  4. You will click on the blue button in “Tracking Links” that says Go To Tracking Links.

  5. You will now see the below screen where you need to type in a tracking code to use.
This can be anything you want as long as it only includes numbers and letters (no spaces). So if you are going to be posting the event on twitter, we suggest making the tracking code Twitter01072012 which would stand for “Twitter 01/07/2012” (the date you posted it on twitter). Once you come up with your Tracking Code click the Generate Link button.
  6. The system will also generate a QR Code ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code ) that you can place on your Posters, Flyers or TV Commercials. To generate the QR Code, simply click on format type qrCode.

When you pull the Extended Event Information report, you will then see a column “AI_ReferralKey”. This will include the Tracking Code that you inserted above, if anyone used it. If someone scans the QR Code, we will automatically add “_QRCode” to the end of your tracking code for easy identification of QR Codes scanned. Below is a sample if the Tracking Code was inserted as “testing” and someone purchased by clicking on the link along with a buyer purchasing after scanning the QR Code.
